Business Development Executive – Guildford

Salary: Competitive + Bonus

The Company

Our client is successful ERP solutions provider looking for a Business Development Executive with experience of Marketing and Sales of SaaS products like SAGE X3 or any similar ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software’s to be based in their Hampshire offices

The Role

Business Development Executive will be a result focused and responsible for all aspects of the sales-cycle from lead generation to closing the deal, there will be additional support provided with team of dedicated pre-sales resource and marketing support.  

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a good knowledge SaaS based Solutions
  • Identify and develop business opportunities for the ERP / SaaS products
  • Maintain a prospecting database and pipeline of prospective business opportunities
  • Demonstrate software solutions to prospective customers and in conferences
  • Work with Internal and external stakeholders to develop business opportunities
  • Strive to achieve annual sales targets as determined by The Board
  • Provide regular reports to leadership team

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience in a customer facing professional services position
  • Minimum of two years proven track record of SaaS sales – ideally enterprise level SaaS.
  • SAGE X3 experience or understanding is preferable but
  • Experience of using ERP software or Marketing is preferred.
  • Experience of running mid-long cycle sales within IT
  • University degree preferred, equivalent experience will be considered
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
