Business Development Executive       

Location: Brighton                  

Salary ranges: £22,000 - £24,000 based on experience with a further £6000 OTE

They continue to invest in providing cutting-edge technologies for their customers through being backed by UK private equity investors, and their UK-based sales, support, account management, and development teams.

They specialise in route optimisation for both large and small operations, in a wide variety of industries. Their ethos is to provide customers with choice. That’s why they integrate with all major CRM’s and devices.

Objective:

As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities for the team of Account Executives via outbound prospecting only. Your key objective is to provide the agreed number of qualified leads and appointments from the target market.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the sales process to attract new business opportunities
  • Making business to business outbound calls, generating leads and organising demonstrations for Account Executives
  • Generate leads using the latest techniques and tools, including leveraging marketing content via social media channels, attending marketing events and generating referrals
  • Engage with senior decision makers and educate them on their product features and benefits and qualify the potential opportunity
  • Effectively use the CRM to log calls, outcomes and manage the prospect database
  • Participate in, and manage specific campaigns via Email
  • Exceed targets and KPIs set

  • Maintain fruitful relationships with clients and address their needs effectively
  • Provide ideas to attract new clients and keep the senior management updated about marketplace and competitor activity
  • Research and identify new market opportunities
  • Demonstrate the ability to work both independently and within a specialist team environment
  • Provide an exceptional standard of professional customer care
  • Achieve the defined performance targets
  • Exhibit professionalism at all times and act as an ambassador for the Company
  • Respect confidentiality where required by the business and others
  • Desire to move up the ranks and into a Sales Executive role

Skills Required:

  • Experience in B2B sales and outbound lead generation: 1 – 2 years
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work from home
  • An exceptional team player
  • Excellent communication skills and confident phone manner
  • Computer literate: MS Office; Skype; CRM
  • Conversant with the latest lead gen technologies competencies

Required Experience:

This role will be based in their Brighton office where the successful candidate will work alongside their young, enthusiastic and rapidly growing team.
