Architectural Designer - Part II

Location: Winchester

Salary: DOE (Salary will be dependent on experience and in line with RIBA guidelines)

Our well-established client is an award-winning RIBA certified contemporary architectural practice, based in Winchester, Hampshire, specialising in elegant modern new homes, extensions, renovations, and multi-plot developments looking to appoint for a new Part II to join the team. The vacancy provides an exciting prospect to work in a social and fun practice, as well as the opportunity to work on ambitious projects.

The Role:

Our client is looking for an Architectural Designer who will Responsible to deliver high quality, contemporary, elegant, and functional design.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work on ambitious projects
  • Working on a diverse range of projects
  • Working with great clients and exciting sites to create innovative architecture.
  • Delivering functional design solutions achieved through a multiplicity of design skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • RIBA Part II qualification
  • A passion for design
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience with the UK Planning System & Building Regulations
  • Technical knowledge & experience of construction, detailing and writing specifications would be beneficial but not essential
  • Proficient English language skills are also a must and the ability to communicate well with clients and consultants is desirable.
  • Computer skills required: AutoCAD, SketchUp and Knowledge of Lumio
